During the Gamberi Water Festival (Trento, Italy), K. Matthias Wantzen (left) has received the International Water Prize by Prof. Marco Cantonati (University of Bologna) and Eriberto Eulisse (UNESCO Water Museums Network), recognizing his decade-long engagement for science-policy transfer and river conservation. The co-development of the new, international and transdisciplinary Master "Continental Water Sustainability" was, among his activities for UNESCO, one of the leading arguments for the premiation.
