In 2025, the ITI SWITCH launched interdisciplinary calls for projects under the INITIATE (Master’s internships) and DEVELOP (PhD and postdoctoral research) schemes. These initiatives aim to strengthen collaborative research on socio-ecological systems, hydrology, sustainability transitions, and environmental governance.
This half-day event will showcase the awarded projects and highlight a wide range of research exploring urban mobility and air quality, river dynamics and sediment transport, climate change indicators, regenerative hydrology, citizen participation, biodiversity governance, and socio-territorial transitions. Through short presentations and discussions with PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and Master’s students, participants will gain insight into ongoing interdisciplinary work addressing key environmental challenges.
The event offers a unique opportunity to exchange with researchers, discover emerging methodologies and tools, and connect scientific knowledge with territorial needs and decision-making processes.
